Selebri (selebri.com) is a platform that connects fans with Ukrainian artists for personalised video greetings. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Selebri and its operators.

• Account data — name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account via Amazon Cognito.
• Profile data — artist bio, profile photo, and category information provided voluntarily by artists.
• Booking data — recipient name, occasion, personalisation message, and booking status.
• Payment data — billing information processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Contact form submissions — name, email, optional phone/messenger contacts, message text, and any screenshots you attach.
• Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) collected automatically.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To process bookings and payments.
• To facilitate video calls between fans and artists via Daily.co.
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts) via AWS SES.
• To respond to support requests submitted through the contact form.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To improve and maintain the platform.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your data only where necessary:

• Stripe — to process payments. Governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Daily.co — to host video calls. Governed by the Daily.co Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Web Services — to store data (Aurora PostgreSQL), authenticate users (Cognito), and send emails (SES). Data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) region.
• hCaptcha — to protect forms from bots. Governed by the hCaptcha Privacy Policy.
• Legal obligations — we may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and booking data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via our contact page. Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial regulations.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Selebri is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Selebri after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
